Didi Ananda Rupadhara

Avadhutika Ananda Rupadhara Acarya (Didi) is from India, where she learned meditation as a child in 1968. She became a Whole Time Sannyasin (Didi) in 1982 and was working in various capacities for Ananda Marga in India. She was Sectorial AMURTEL Secretary for India and Nepal, and coordinated relief work in multiple locations after cyclones, floods, droughts, and other natural calamities affected the country.
Didi Ananda Rupadhara has been teaching Ananda Marga meditation in Canada since 2009. While based in Ottawa, Didi travels to British Columbia, Alberta, Vancouver, Toronto, and Quebec to teach meditation, yoga and render various services to women and children of Ananda Marga Canada and the general society. She gives classes in several community centers in Ottawa, and 2019 received Volunteer Service Award by the Province of Ontario for her excellent service to women. She also travels to the US and attends Ananda Marga events and coordinates the work of the Ananda Marga Women’s Welfare Department (WWD.)
